Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · last updated 16 August 2026
The service
RiFT is a private, non-commercial Ragnarok Online server run as a hobby. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Gravity Co., Ltd. or any official publisher of Ragnarok Online. The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability or of data preservation.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done with your account.
- One person may hold several accounts. Using them to gain an unfair advantage is not permitted.
- Do not share, sell or trade accounts.
Conduct
- No cheating, botting, or exploiting bugs. Report bugs instead of using them.
- No harassment of other players.
- No attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the servers.
Cash points and payments
- Cash points are a virtual item for use in the in-game cash shop. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Points are delivered to your account automatically, usually within seconds of payment.
- Payments are processed by PayPal. RiFT never sees or stores your card details.
Refunds
Because cash points are delivered immediately and can be spent straight away, purchases are not refundable once the points have been delivered, except where the law requires otherwise.
That said, we would rather sort out a genuine mistake than argue about it. If you bought by accident, were charged twice, or something went wrong, get in touch and we will look at it. Refunds outside the above are at our discretion.
To reach us: reach us on Discord
Opening a payment dispute or chargeback without contacting us first may result in the purchased points being removed and the account suspended. If an account is suspended or removed for breaking these terms, any remaining cash points are forfeited.
Enforcement
Accounts that break these terms may be suspended or removed without notice and without compensation for anything obtained in game.
Changes
These terms may change. The version and date at the top of this page identify the current one, and continuing to use the service means accepting it.
